Craig Sturt, a 46-year-old man, remarkably breached security at Heathrow Airport, successfully boarding a British Airways flight to JFK Airport without a ticket. This incident occurred just before Christmas.

After he arrived in the U.S., Sturt was detained and subsequently deported back to the UK. In the UK, he faced charges for his unauthorized entry into Terminal 5 and boarding a Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner.

Sturt initially pleaded guilty to the charges. However, he failed to appear for his sentencing scheduled in January, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant. On January 25, he was reported missing, prompting the Metropolitan Police to take charge of the investigation.

This incident, which came to light on December 24, 2023, highlighted a significant security breach at Heathrow Airport, raising concerns about the effectiveness of airport security measures.
