Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has suspended his campaign! But why?

Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has decided to suspend his campaign and endorse former President Trump after failing to meet expectations at the Iowa Caucuses on Monday.

Despite earning approximately 8% support from caucusgoers, Ramaswamy trailed behind Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, who secured second and third place respectively with around 20% support each. Meanwhile, Trump achieved a remarkable victory, breaking caucus records by garnering over 50% of the vote.

Ramaswamy, who entered the race in February of last year with little to no recognition, managed to outlast prominent Republicans such as former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, and former Vice President Mike Pence.

Throughout his campaign, Ramaswamy emphasized the restoration of America's identity and advocated for a significant reduction in the size of the federal government, aiming to dismantle the bureaucratic state.

Stranger Things Actor Backtracks on Israel-Palestine Comments as Season 5 Begins

Noah Schnapp, known for his role in "Stranger Things," addressed the controversy surrounding his views on the Israel-Hamas conflict on Monday. He expressed that his "thoughts and beliefs" have been misunderstood and misinterpreted.

In a TikTok video lasting almost two minutes, Schnapp emphasized his desire for peace and his opposition to the killing of innocent people. He also mentioned gaining valuable insights from conversations with his Palestinian friends. Schnapp asserted that anyone with a sense of humanity would hope for an end to the hostilities on both sides. The 19-year-old actor faced criticism in November when a video emerged showing him in a restaurant with friends holding stickers that read "Zionism is Sexy" and "Hamas is ISIS” and has also allegedly liked posts on Instagram mocking Palestinians and Muslims.

Big Mac Backlash: Can McDonald's UK Sizzle Out Boycott Over Israel Freebies?

McDonald's UK is facing major heat! An Israel-themed burger controversy has sparked a UK-wide boycott after their Israeli branch offered free meals to soldiers. This, as you can imagine, didn't sit well with everyone, and now McDonald's UK is scrambling to deny any political leanings, saying they don't fund any governments involved in the conflict. ‍

McDonald’s UK stated, “We categorically deny any accusations of funding or supporting any government involved in this conflict.”

But is it enough to quench the flames of the boycott? We'll have to wait and see!
